Biography

Bud Leedom is President of Leedom Asset Management and has more than 20 years experience as an investment manager and research analyst. He served as a Senior Vice President and co-Managing Director of healthcare research at Wells Fargo Securities prior to forming Leedom Asset Management. Bud began his investment career in 1992, as publisher of a stock research periodical called San Diego Stock Report. He also hosts an annual investment conference called Southern California Investor Conference in Newport Beach, California.

 

Bud developed LSI, a research process that detects imbalances of supply and demand in stocks that was popularized in his book Supply and Demand Investing, published in 2016. Investors use LSI today in their own research through LSIcharts.com of which Bud is President.

 

A leading voice among Southern California companies, Bud Leedom has been widely publicized. In addition to appearing on CNBC and CBS, Mr. Leedom’s commentary has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Barron's, Investor's Business Daily and BusinessWeek. He has been a frequent guest on the ‘KNX Business Hour’ with Frank Mottek heard on AM 1070 radio in Southern California and KOGOs ‘Money in the Morning’ in San Diego.
